Wanna start a business?

So many want to start a businesses because we are inspired by the images of the 10% of those who start businesses and succeed. They are the revered, coveted, and the showcased. Yet we almost never see interviews of the 90% of startup founders who fail. Nobody ever talks to them. The most successful ones have failed multiplied times before they finally built a winner. We see them in their glory. “Man, do I wanna be like her!” It’s appealing, attractive, and doesn’t even look that hard, We say,“I can do that!”
The Believer in Business has an inherent advantage when they are set free by the truth!
Let me give you some good advice; I’m looking you in the eye and giving it to you straight:
“Don’t be ornery like a horse or mule that needs bit and bridle to stay on track.” Psalm 32:8-9 Message
Yet, even for us, we don't always get our faith in Jesus, the greatest entrepreneur ever under our business.
Why is it so exceedingly difficult?
It’s because of the LIE!
Lack of Know-how
She has too little Business and entrepreneurial know-how. She has a passion to create something that will serve others. The problem is that she has never done it before. She really doesn’t know what to do, nor how to do it. There is a steep learning curve. Entrepreneurship is at its core a series of experiments requiring the resilience to learn fast, fight past failures, and diligently reapply what works. You can learn it the hard way, or you can receive the missing know-how and experience from those who have gone before you.
Isolation
You keep telling yourself, “if it is to be it is up to me.”
It’s a lonely existence! You feel all alone and seems nobody understands what, why, or how you are doing? Especially in the beginning and perhaps for the duration, It’s Just you. This is your leap of faith, and you work and walk alone. So much of your time is spent alone with your computer, or other tools of the trade, head down, humping, trying to get it done. It sure helps if you have a partner or team, yet still, the founder is singularly responsible for the success or failure, and that is You, all by your lonesome!
Exhaustion
It’s really tiring, and you won’t and can’t quit! There is an infinite number of things to do, and you try to do all of them. So, you work to the bone. You so determined that you don’t even notice all the things you are skipping, prayer, church, meals, exercise, the kid’s basketball game, and sleep. Well, you’ve heard it said that sleep is over-rated anyway. You can sleep once you arrive. You will be so better able to satisfy all those other stakeholders once you get this business booming! So, if this is what it takes, I’m all in! My faith, family, and fitness won’t mind waiting for me to get there, right?
The TRUTH is there is a better way!
You are not alone, and there is a good teacher who’s done it before!
Trust the source of all things (Jesus) he’s made promises to believers
Reap from sowing the Jesus way. He started the best company ever
Understanding - in all you getting get know-how!
Together with others as there is safety in a multitude of counselors
Hustle: diligence, persistence, and working from rest
But don’t let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk! There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. 2 Timothy 3:14-17 Message
