Some Aspiring Believers in Business are still on the fence!
In my walks as a economist and BIB Life Coach I often hear people talk about the businesses that they want to start. Yet, I've learned to restrain myself from exhorting them to take the next step, because it's often just talk. When they are ready, they will step out, and maybe even ask for help?
I became increasingly curious to learn what are the barriers holding would-be entrepreneurs back.
Inc. Magazine took a poll asking a few thousand people about this. Just like most of the polling I read about, they didn't ask me! I bet they didn't ask you either!
So I am asking to you to give us your response to this poll.
What is the biggest barrier holding would-be entrepreneurs back?
The top 8 responses are:
I don't have an idea;
I dont have the right skills
I don't think I could raise enough money
The competitive barriers are too high
I don't think I could hire people with the skills I need
Im discouraged by the high failure rates
I worry about balancing business and family life
